    The Care and Enrichment unit of Rainbow Centre aims to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities through out of school hours care and enrichment programmes. The Executive, Care and Enrichment, is responsible for the planning and implementation of the activities and ensuring that outcomes are achieved.

     

    Critical Work Functions:

    1. Student Engagement & Learning

    • Work closely with Care Facilitators to develop and implement engaging and student-centric activities

    • Conduct sessions with selected students on the development of enrichment programmes and activities

    • Promote and stimulate student participation, fostering fun and creativity

    • Craft and track progress of student enrichment plans, compiling individual student progress

    • Source suitable community partners and vendors to provide enrichment activities appropriate for students

     

    2. Programme Coordination and Administration

    • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) for smooth implementation of activities

    • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with RC’s policies and safety codes including completing all the necessary risk assessments

    • Monitor and evaluate activities to ensure safety of students, quality in activities and upkeep of learning environment

    • Monitor and regularly review take-up of enrichment activities, producing relevant reports which can contribute to development of annual workplan.

    • Monitor programme expenses to ensure operations are within allocated budgets

     

    3. Collaborate with Others

    • Promote positive links with local community groups and service providers to students with disabilities

    • Manage volunteers, including maintaining roster for volunteer activities 

     

    Job Holder Requirements:

    • A Diploma or Degree in related field and experience with students with disabilities is preferred but not mandatory
    • Candidates with prior experience working with children and youths will have an added advantage
    • Only Singaporeans and Permanent Residents
