The Senior Executive for Communications and Engagement plays an integral role in elevating awareness of Rainbow Centre’s impact among strategically important audiences. The postholder shapes communications and materials to inform, educate, and inspire key audiences including press, potential and existing funders, and internal and external stakeholders to connect with Rainbow Centre’s vision and mission.
This position also supports the department’s partnership initiatives for volunteers and donors. |

Good Life Services (GLS) aims to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities through the delivery of person centred services that support and empower these individuals, their family members and the communities around them so that they can achieve their highest level of independence and lead thriving lives.
Young Adults Activities (YAA!) is a pilot project run by GLS and aims to keep young adults with disabilities engaged and connected through meaningful and interesting activities.
The job-holder will plan leisure activities with young adults with disabilities and will also work to promote, assist and develop links with local communities, public agencies and the corporate sector in implementing and raising awareness of Rainbow Centre programs. |
Life Coach

Strategic Initiative 1.3 Supported Living Lab aims to develop an Individualised Living Plan (ILP) for students in a close-to-authentic living space to enable them to achieve goals related to the following Good Life domains:
being safe
being independent and
being engaged
The Life Coach, working alongside the Project Manager, executes the RC Strategic Initiative, Supported Living Lab, covering a broad spectrum of topics and/or responsibility areas as assigned by the Sponsor or Drivers of the initiative.
The Life Coach plays a key role in ensuring students’ learning, safety, proper documentation and/or responsibility areas as assigned by the Sponsor or Drivers of the initiative. The post-holder must be adaptable, caring, and patient with the ability to multitask with great communication and collaboration abilities.
(Internal candidates will be placed on secondment for 12-18 months) |
