Job Tasks and Responsibilties: 

Campus Administration: Ensuring Process Optimisation and Efficiency

  1. Partner with functional areas (finance, HR, IT, Facilities Management and Administration Operations) within RC to design, coordinate, standardize, and implement services and support for departments and programs. This includes developing and executing processes, procedures, workflows, and metrics that align with the business and service needs of each department and program in the school.

  2. Oversee a range of required administration tasks including reports, correspondence, spread-sheets, mail management, minutes management and audit activities

  3. Prepare for the school’s budgeting process and financial operations in budget exercises, asset and inventory tracking

  4. Drive implementation and use of IT infrastructure to increase productivity including integrating Information and Communications Technology (ICT) into administrative processes, and leveraging ICT to improve efficiency in work processes and in supporting teaching and learning

  5. Oversee a team of staff that will provide day-to-day financial, operational, and administrative support for identified areas within the school

  6. Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and the quality of service

Alignment: Ensuring alignment with RC’s values and compliance with policies and standards

  1. Identify and facilitate cross-functional workgroups to develop, deliver, operationalize, document and support business improvement processes, integrating identified initiatives into organizational effectiveness efforts 

  2. Ensure adherence with all internal and external policies and procedures including contractual obligations and the corporate Code of Conduct   

  3. Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety requirements and  brings to management’s attention when others are in breach of these requirements.  

  4. Remain up to date and compliant with all relevant legislation, organisational procedures, policies and professional codes of conduct in order to uphold standards of best practice

Public relations: Leading in client-centred service

  1. Serve as a point of contact for operational inquiries across the School

  2. Oversee the admin office and reception area, ensuring that queries are attended to promptly and with good service attitude

  3. Develop positive relationships with the schools’ stakeholders such as parents, vendors, and the public, etc.

Develop Self and Others & Innovate for Greater Impact

  1. Proactively seek learning and upskilling opportunities and set stretch goals to drive own professional development

  2. Manage performance and development of downlines

  3. Develop, coordinate, and steer the training and development for new and existing departmental administrators that builds a culture of success. Ensures compliance with RC’s policies, procedures, and practice.

Job Holder Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good Degree in relevant field and/or substantial experience (at least 8 years) in school administration. 

  • Strong interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead and work well in team

  • A dynamic and motivated individual with a keen interest in continuous improvement and work excellence

  • A keen interest in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and prior experience in IT or project management would be an advantage.
