The Good Life Services at Rainbow Centre aims to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities through the delivery of person and family centred services that support and empower these individuals, their family members and the communities around them so that they can achieve their highest level of independence and lead thriving lives.

We are looking for an Assistant Senior/Senior Social Worker who will be responsible for the provision of effective case management and social work services. Whilst taking on supervisory responsibilities for junior social worker(s), you will also be responsible for your caseloads. You may work across a variety of settings at Rainbow Centre (early intervention, schools, out-of-school hours care and community outreach services etc.) as part of an interdisciplinary team and may take on cross-department projects requiring project leadership and coordination. 


Key responsibilities include:

  • Rendering social work services in the form of casework, group work and community work

  • Quality service administration and management

  • Continuing education and staff development


We seek from you:

  • Possess a Degree or Masters in Social Work 

  • Registered as Social Worker with SASW

  • Minimum 3-4 years of post-qualification experience working as an Social Worker with clients with disabilities, preferably in a similar setting

  • Establish interdisciplinary collaboration to provide effective and client-centric service to achieve best client outcomes

  • Demonstrate a proficient understanding of therapy areas and, in particular, issues within the school and/or community setting
