    Critical Work Functions:

    1. Programme and office administration:
      • Plan activities as assigned
      • Provide operational, logistical and administrative support for the programme
      • Coordinate operational and logistical matters for meetings and/or training for the team (e.g.preparation of attendance sheet and notes, booking and arrangement of rooms, refreshment requisition, development & collation of feedback forms, confirmation of attendance, secretarial duties etc.)
      • Process the referral and enrolment of clients for the programme
      • Coordinate and schedule appointments for clients/families
      • Maintain daily records on progress of clients and provide programme updates to programme team implement quality control and compliance procedures
      • Conduct screening to support development of programmes based on client needs, and suggest areas of improvements in programme, where necessary
    2. Volunteer and Resource Management:
      • Guide volunteers in executing programme activities
      • Plan manpower roster for the programme
      • Develop information materials needed for distribution to clients and/or volunteers for programme activities
      • Inventorise and ensure upkeep of resources for the programme
    3. Community Outreach:
      • Plan and implement key activities for publicity and public engagement/ outreach
      • Coordinate with other organisations and/or partners for the execution of programmes
      • Work with ACE to develop materials necessary for publicity and public engagement/ outreach (including pamphlets, flyers, videos, presentations, social media posts)
    4. Data Tracking & Reporting:
      • Maintain system for filing, statistics reporting and tracking
      • Analyse the collated data for reporting and/or research purposes, and propose recommendations when required
      • Prepare statistics and provide relevant reports as requested
    5. Develop Self for Greater Impact:
      • Engage in self-reflective practice and supervision for improved professional practice
      • Participate in organisational workgroups and committees as a workgroup/committee member

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Good Diploma in Community Services or other relevant disciplines

    • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or in project/event coordination or management will be an asset

Good Life Services (GLS) aims to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities through the delivery of person centred services that support and empower these individuals, their family members and the communities around them so that they can achieve their highest level of independence and lead thriving lives. Young Adults Activities (YAA!) is a pilot project run by GLS and aims to keep young adults with disabilities engaged and connected through meaningful and interesting activities. The job-holder will plan leisure activities with young adults with disabilities and will also work to promote, assist and develop links with local communities, public agencies and the corporate sector in implementing and raising awareness of Rainbow Centre programs.
