We are looking for a Senior Administrative Manager for our Special School in Margaret Drive/our Early Intervention Programme.
The Senior Administrative Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operations of the school/programme and will assist the Principal and Vice Principal/Deputy Director in all matters pertaining to financial, personnel and general administration.
The postholder is responsible to review, simplify and alleviate the non-professional administrative work processes and workloads in the school. The postholder will also coordinate with other departments to ensure the efficient use of resources throughout the organisation.
The Senior Admin Manager will provide effective support to the Principal and Vice Principal/Deputy Director in the following areas:
- Campus Administration: Ensuring Process Optimisation and Efficiency:
- Complete a range of required administration tasks including reports, correspondence, spread-sheets, taking, distributing and filing meeting minutes and audit activities
- Support the school’s budgeting process and financial operations in budget exercises, asset and inventory tracking, handling audit queries, etc.
- Oversee the administration of overall procurement processes in schools to ensure compliance with RC and MOE guidelines
- Maintain adherence with all internal and external policies and procedures including contractual obligations
- Complete a range of administration tasks including coordination of incoming and outgoing mail and distribution, staff absences and relief timesheets to ensure the efficient running of the programmes
- Drive implementation and use of IT infrastructure to increase productivity including integrating Information and Communications Technology (ICT) into administrative processes, and leveraging ICT to improve efficiency in work processes and in supporting teaching and learning
- Alignment: Ensuring alignment with RC’s values and compliance with policies and standards
- Assist the Principal to ensure that programmes comply with all funding requirements
- Supporting the school leaders in aligning the objectives and work plan to the overall objectives of the school to meet the school’s strategic needs
- Ensure that staff adheres to organisational policies and procedures and the corporate Code of Conduct
- Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety requirements and brings to management’s attention when others are in breach of these requirements.
- Public relations: Leading in client-centered service
- Oversee the admin office and reception area, ensuring that queries are attended to promptly and with good service attitude
- Supporting the school leaders in developing and maintaining positive relationships with the schools’ stakeholders such as parents, vendors, and the public, etc.
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Administration or other relevant field and/or demonstrated substantial experience in school administration

Minimally 5 years relevant working experience or more in a similar setting, with at least 3 years experience leading a team.

Strong interpersonal, organisation and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead and work well in team dynamic and motivated individual with a keen interest in continuous improvement and work excellence

A keen interest in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and prior experience in IT or project management would be an advantage
